As the season shifts from summer into fall, a time of reflection and transformation, we are invited to turn inward and seek renewal in our bodies, minds, and spirits. The word renew means to give fresh life, to revive, and to strengthen- and this theme lies at the heart of RENU, a captivating studio showing that embodies the essence of revival and new beginnings. RENU features a cherished solo choreographed by Christopher Page-Sanders, Ms. Ruby's Wish, now brought back to life with renewed energy and vision. In addition to Ms. Ruby's Wish, RENU will debut a world premiere by Bashir-Muhammad and the return of his beloved work, The Coming Together, inspired by the letters of Samuel Melville and the Attica Prison Riots. These pieces, woven into the evening's fabric, explore the human spirit's capacity to evolve and transform.
